I’m Ashley King — a wedding, senior, and boudoir photographer based in Jonesboro, Arkansas and the 2026 Jonesboro Premiere Photographer. 🤍
I started this business with no big plan — honestly just a camera, a dream, and figuring things out as I went. I’m completely self-taught, and somehow this little “what if this works?” idea turned into the career I love most.
My approach is simple: I want your photos to feel like you. Real moments, real connection, and images that bring you back to how it all felt. I’m very go-with-the-flow and calm by nature, especially on wedding days. I’ll hype you up, help you feel comfortable, and keep things relaxed instead of overly posed or stressful.
For my seniors, expect a session that feels more like hanging out than awkward posing. We’ll laugh, play music, chase good light, and probably say “wait that’s SO cute” at least 50 times.
My editing style is soft, emotional, and timeless with a warmth that feels natural instead of trendy. I love genuine emotion, personality, movement, and all the little in-between moments people don’t even realize are happening.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually with my husband and two kiddos, going on solo movie dates, obsessing over fictional characters, or romanticizing life like it’s a movie scene. I’m a fangirl at heart and probably love love a little too much.
If my work feels like your vibe, I’d love to tell your story. 🤍

The year I stopped treating photography like a side hobby and just went all in. No perfect plan, no roadmap — honestly just a dream, a camera, and a vibe. I’m completely self-taught, so a lot of this year was learning as I went, trusting my instincts, and figuring things out through experience. Late nights editing and saying yes to every opportunity helped shape the business I have now.
The year things started feeling real. I started booking consistently, my calendar stayed fuller than I ever expected, and I even had to raise my prices because of the demand. It was the first time I realized this little dream and “just seeing what happens” mindset was turning into a real career.
This was the year I really settled into who I am as a photographer and what I love most. I niched down into weddings, seniors, and boudoir — focusing on connection, emotion, confidence, and storytelling instead of trying to do everything.
A year I’ll never forget. Being voted Jonesboro Premiere Photographer was something I never expected, and I was honestly in complete shock when I found out. I was literally pacing around my house from excitement. It meant so much to me because it came from the people who trust me with some of the biggest moments in their lives. One of those moments that makes you stop and realize how far you’ve actually come.
I’m very go-with-the-flow and not much truly stresses me out. Whether it’s timeline changes, weather chaos, or nerves on a wedding day, I try to be a calm presence that helps people feel comfortable and grounded.
For my seniors, I’m not the super stiff “stand there and smile” photographer. I’ll hype you up, joke around with you, fix your hair, and probably end the session feeling more like a friend than someone you just hired.
I love real emotion and real personality. The happy tears, loud laughs, chaos, soft moments, awkward moments — all of it. I want your photos to actually feel like you, not just look pretty.
